I STARTED TO DESCEND...

The silence of this world inside, under the blue or pale surface layer, had always been a sanctuary, awaiting my journey through the challenging ordeal of confronting the unknown to reach it. I feared loosing control, of falling deep and allowing gravity to pull me into its depths and show me the truth. However, the reality I uncovered is that I am my own sanctuary. At long last, I have discovered inner peace.

Feeling my skin. It's rough by my elbows, a little bumpy on my forearm. My inner arms are soft, my hands rough again. My legs are prickly, but the soles of my feet smooth. My face is bumpy, my lips are cracked, but my eyelids are soft...
