"Homeless in Hollywood"

Behind every frame lies a story.

Many people live overlooked, searching for a community they never had. Exploited by a system that turns a blind eye, this is not about exploration—it’s about survival. They’ve turned to the streets, not by choice, but by necessity. These are lives, not just stories.

On Hollywood Blvd, I met two strangers, full of life and warmth. After talking for a bit and letting them take my photo I started realizing how powerful this moment was.

Drawn to their vibrant yet fragile connection, I began documenting their journey. Beneath their smiles was a profound sadness—a glimpse into the struggles they carried. Two kind souls navigating a world that often overlooks them.

1839 AWARDS

Named after the year the medium was first made widely available to the public, 1839 Awards offers a series of competitions honoring the most remarkable photographers using photography as an art form.
